Boating and Wakeboarding Code of Ethics

Boating

The Association took part in the Lac Quenouille Consultation program in 2013, which included the three municipalities of the lake. This group set up several committees, including one on the development of a code of ethics. The Laurentides Regional Council for the Environment (CRE Laurentides) was hired to lead the work. Ms. Annabelle Campron was the resource person. The following link will provide you with all relevant information about this project.

Between 2013 and 2023, the APLQ made updates to the code of ethics, to address new and changing issues on the lake. The link below is the most recent version of the Code of Ethics (Summer 2023). Residents are encouraged to share the code with others. If your property is used for rental purposes, be sure to review the code with tenants and provide them with a copy.

Wakeboats / Wakesurfing

In 2023, in response to some issues raised by members of the association, the Board of APLQ took this under review. See this link for a summary of the issues (French only)

A code of ethics related to the use of wakeboats, especially for wakesurfing, was developed by the Board and approved by the Association at the 2023 AGM:
